The night market will feature a commercial space and pedestrian streets, aiming to add greater character to the central city. It will have 150 pavilions selling food and specialties, souvenirs, handicraft products, jewelry, fashion and bags, which will be open from 6pm to midnight.
The market will create a new destination for tourism and shopping, helping to lure visitors and extend their stay in the city while meeting their demands for entertainment, shopping and cuisine.
Tran Tri Cuong, vice director of the Da Nang Tourism Department, says visitors to the central city will be provided with an additional tourism product and have a chance to experience the local culture at night. Local products such as seafood will be given pride of place at the market.
