3 Days Trekking Tour in Sapa ( Homestay)

- Sapa is the magnificent mountainous in northern of Vietnam and an incredible place for trekking lovers. Hidden inside this area is the array of ethnic groups, all of whom have left their own boldly stamp of their cultures. Many tribes still keep their traditional ways of life in earthen houses or wooden stilt houses in the valleys. The imposing mountains and rice terraces give this area a great combination of nature and culture and are definitely a place for adventurers. Join us on this trip to experience a great trekking tour through local trail and learn more about the colourful cultural of hill tribes there.
Firstly:
Pick up at your hotel or Hanoi Journey Office at 20:00 and transfer to Hanoi train station to catch the night train to Lao Cai ( Tran time: SP3/21:50) Overnight on the train
Day 1: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sử Pán (B/L/D)
You will arrive at Lao Cai station around 6:00 AM. Our tour guide will pick you up at Lao Cai Station and transfer you to Sapa by bus. Enjoy breakfast before starting the trek.
We begin our journey by trekking to Y Linh Ho and then descending into the stunning Muong Hoa Valley, passing through rice paddies and small hamlets to learn about the daily life of the hill tribes. Enjoy cultural exchanges with the local people in Lao Chai village. Cook and have lunch with a local family, then continue trekking through villages and terraced rice fields to Ta Van village, home to the Dzay ethnic people, known for its breathtaking scenery.
From Ta Van, we continue trekking to Sử Pán, a peaceful village inhabited by the Black H’mong and Red Dao people. Experience the local way of life, have dinner, and stay overnight at a homestay in Sử Pán.
Day 2: Sử Pán – Giang Ta Chai – Ban Ho (B/L/D)
After breakfast, say goodbye to your host family and continue trekking to Giang Ta Chai village, home of the Red Dao people. Here, you can admire a beautiful waterfall and observe the unique clothing of Red Dao women, adorned with vibrant red embroidery and silver coins. Some of the women even shave off their eyebrows due to a fascinating Red Dao legend.
Following small paths through rice fields, we cross the Muong Hoa River via a suspension bridge and walk up to Supan. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the stream before trekking downhill to Ban Ho village. Upon arrival, settle into a traditional stilt house of the Tay ethnic group, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight with a Tay family.
Day 3: Ban Ho – Su Pan – Sapa – Lao Cai (B/L/D)
Wake up early and take in the fresh countryside air. After breakfast, trek 2km to a stunning waterfall discovered and named “The Lavie” by the French during colonial times. Then reach to the main road, where a jeep will take you back toSapa for lunch.. Spend some free time exploring Sapa town before transferring to Lao Cai for the overnight train back to Hanoi. You will have dinner in Lao Cai before the train departs.
